About

I lecture on a variety of modules across the BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy, the pre-registration MSc in Occupational Therapy and the post-registration Occupational Therapy programmes.

Teaching responsibilities

I currently deliver modules focusing on occupation and occupational therapy in public health. I also teach aspects of psychology in addition to different assessments and intervention methods used in occupational therapy practice. 

I supervise Master's students during their independent research module at both pre-registration and postgraduate levels.

Professional interests

My key professional interests are within occupational science and how people teaching and learn the professional concept of occupation.

I am an active member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.

Additional interests and activities

I created the occupation-focused teaching tool. This tool is used to support students to develop knowledge and understanding of occupation as understood within occupational therapy.
