There are two sessions: Pathway to Net Zero and Carbon Footprinting Made Easy. Although learners do not have to attend both, the content is linked so it would be beneficial.

Each session is delivered by our staff and consists of two hours contact time. This is either online or at the Buxton Dome campus. Prior to the session, students will be asked to do a small amount of pre-work (watching a video, reading an article etc). Post session, learners will be asked to complete a short task (eg. how the content of the course might help improve their own business) and they will have the opportunity to discuss this with tutors online or via email.

The course is free and delivered by our experts on behalf of High Peak District Council. It’s a bite-size course with easy to access materials. Attending the courses should lead to improvements in the learner’s business as the material we use can be put into practice straight away.

Sessions are free. Two hours contact time (face-to-face or online) plus one - two hours pre/post work. Learners will get a certificate of completion/attendance.
