Electric Fleet transformation

Expert support to help you make the right low emission vehicle choice

Cenex are delivering this CPDUK accredited scheme as part of the Net Zero Accelerator programme which is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund. The programme of support will help SMEs make the shift to zero emission vehicles by providing training and access to expert ‘know how’.

The scheme will support 15 firms that are ready to make the change to low emission vehicles and currently operate commercial van fleets of between 2-50 vehicles. Participating organisations will have access to:

• Provision of easy to install telemetry devices to capture their vehicle usage patterns
• Specialist support on-hand to answer any queries whilst enrolled on the support scheme

Specialist training on low emission vehicles covering topics including

• Introduction to Low Emission Vehicles and Infrastructure
• Understanding the Operational, Business and Environmental Case
• Trialling and Implementing Low Emission Vehicles

The participating organisations will leave the scheme with

• A CPD accredited course certificate
• A tailor-made zero emission vehicle transition plan (covering cost and emission savings available) for their fleet
• The knowledge and the knowhow to implement the vehicles and infrastructure

Who is it for?

To participate businesses must be in one of the following areas:

• Derbyshire Dales
• High Peak
• Bassetlaw
• Mansfield
• Newark and Sherwood
• Nottingham City
• Leicester City

To get the most value out of the scheme applicants must be able to provide up to a maximum of 12 hours of their time to participate in web conferencing sessions, be willing to provide basic organisation and fleet details and, if applicable, be willing to partake in a short data logging trial using operational vehicles.
