The University of Derby has been awarded the Bronze Engage Watermark in recognition of its outstanding commitment to supporting public engagement.

Education experts, artists, businesses and organisations from across the Midlands came together to champion ways to support the needs of local communities at an event hosted by the University of Derby.

A new Nuclear Skills Academy has been opened today by Rolls-Royce, with support from the University of Derby, Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, the National College for Nuclear and Derby City Council.
