Christine Parker is an Associate Professor of Art Practice. This means her writing and directing for the screen has achieved international reach and recognition.

Stuart is Programme Leader and Senior Lecturer in Design with specialisms in Motion Graphics, Animation and Moving Image.

Carl is an artist and Senior Lecturer on BA (Hons) Fine Art. His practice-based PhD, From Hybridity to Synthesis: Positioning Painting in the Digital Age asks whether it is possible to synthesise material-based painting with photography and the digital.

Photography. 

Barend Slabbert is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for the BA (Hons) Interior Design Programme. He has taught both in Cape Town and London before joining the University of Derby in 2017. He specialises in exhibition and conference set-stage design, and is interested in the responsive adaptation of significant historical interiors to contemporary exhibition spaces.

Craig currently works as the Media Photography Technician, maintaining and running the different photography areas. This includes the darkrooms, film processing areas and photography studios. He also works in the Media Loan Hub helping with the photography equipment.

Dr Paul Vandemast-Bell is a lecturer in Music Production and leads the BSc (Hons) Music Technology and Production programme. He is a composer and sound designer, and publishes research in the field of Live Electronic Music.
