Assistant Head of Discipline Primary ITE

Jo Byrd is the Programme Leader for the B.Ed and M.Edu Programme. Jo has presented at TEAN twice and published in TEAN, FORUM and co-written a chapter on Early Years Teachers.  She is currently working on her doctorate examining, 'How Whiteness Manifests itself in Teacher Education'.

Professor of Inclusion and Special Educational Needs and Disability (ISEND)

Geraldine is the Programme Leader for the MA Inclusion and SEND and the National Award for SEN Co-ordination: Leading effective inclusive practice in SEN (PG Certificate)

Wendy Conrad is a lecturer in Special Educational Needs and Disability. 

Trevor Cotterill
Programme Leader for Special Educational Needs and Disability BA (Hons) and FdA SEND.

Trevor is Programme Leader for BA (Hons) and FdA Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). His research interests include the etiology of autism and ADHD, issues and debates in the area of SEND and working with individuals with complex needs.

Bill Esmond is Associate Professor, Education & Employment. His research is located at the intersection of workplace learning, vocational and higher education. His analysis of systems and practice is widely published in international journals, and he supports the research aspirations of vocational practitioners, from local projects to doctoral study.

Dawn Fox is a technical Instructor for Education and a Forest School Practitioner. Her role includes working across all areas of Education. She creates opportunities to help enhance student experience including forest school sessions and outdoor education.

Paul Glossop, a lecturer in Initial Teacher Education, draws on extensive teaching and leadership experience to develop and support trainee teachers. He teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including the Postgraduate Certificate in Online Teaching (PGCOT), equipping educators with skills for both traditional and digital classrooms.
