Discover Derby Days for Year 10 and Year 11

What to expect

Our Discover Derby Day is designed to give Year 10 and 11 students an introduction to university by exploring our state-of-the-art facilities and diverse range of courses. Experienced academics and current students will be on hand to provide valuable insights and answer some of the questions you or your students may have. 

Here's an idea of what you can expect: 

• Discover our University – an IAG talk on ‘The benefits of going to university’ and an interactive session to discover more about the University of Derby 

• Discover our campus – join us on a guided tour of our Kedleston Road campus and find out first-hand what it’s like to study at Derby 

• Discover our courses – take part in one of our subject taster sessions, where students can talk to teaching staff about their course of interest; and explore the facilities available
