Activities should enable learners to: Be able to justify the benefits for an individual to study in higher education Have a confident understanding of the most appropriate route, course and institution relevant to them

Develop independent learning skills that will help them to succeed at university

Be confident in their own revision techniques and ability to manage their time effectively

Have a confident understanding of financial support available to them in HE, including student finance

Have knowledge of how to budget and manage their money effectively

Be able to write a successful personal statement and UCAS application Be able to choose a HEI where the learning environment is tailored to their individual requirements
