Best bits

The best bits component is designed to show the key highlights for the course, to sell the course to prospective students and encourage them to want to read more.

This section was introduced following a key piece of feedback from focus group work.

The current minimalist design uses a grey border with rounded corners and default box-shadow to make the section stand out from normal text on the page.

Key features

• A heading level 3 title "The best bits", and the bullet points themselves will be added automatically
• A minimum of three bullet points should be added if making use of the best bits feature (ideally 4-6)
• The maximum number of bullet points has been restricted to seven to retain impact
• The text for each bullet point has been restricted to 250 characters (allowing for a couple of lines of text), again to keep things short and impactful
• The component will only be shown if text has been added to at least one bullet point element
• Links are not normally included (we don't want to send prospective students away from the page before they've even got to the main content) - include links such as accrediting institutions in the expanded course description text
