Image Embed

Image embed is a component that allows you to display images with an optional caption.

For images that are large, or can be used as impactful pieces on content pages, it might be worth considering using a full width image instead. Where there is a set larger than four images, then the media gallery component should be considered. If there are 2-3 images to display that don’t require a caption, the image group may be a better component to consider.

• Image does not crop, height is flexible and respects the original image aspect ratio
• Images used must be landscape

Image guidance

• Recommended dimensions are 2000 x 1333px or in ThirdLight use 'Image embed/group/gallery 3:2' and crop images as required using the 'Constrain proportions' checkbox.
• For an alternative aspect ratio, 4:3 images can also be used. In ThirdLight use 'Image embed/group 4:3' and crop images using the 'Constrain proportions' checkbox. Recommended dimensions for images using this aspect ratio are 2000 x 1500px.
• For an alternative aspect ratio, 16:9 images can also be used. In ThirdLight use 'Image embed/group 16:9' and crop images using the 'Constrain proportions' checkbox. Recommended dimensions for images using this aspect ratio are 2000 x 1125px.
• All images must be optimised using TinyJPG before uploading to T4.
