Landing Page links

This component is designed to showcase a list of links within a section. For example halls of residence option pages. Each link must have a square image, and there is an optional explainer text field. This content type should not be used within main content pages, and is intended for landing pages only.

Key features

• Each link has:
  • A title
  • Optional explainer text, nb this only displays on desktop devices
  • Square image, see below for guidance
  • A link which can be interal/external
• Optional group title and a pattern option. These will only be used on the first item in a group of links.
• Consecutive landing page links will automatically be wrapped into a group of links
• If requiring multiple groups of landing page links in a section separate by using the title element or a different content type. 

NB

If you are linking to content within T4 the following can be pulled through from the Section config content type: title, abstract (as teaser text) and square thumbnail image. However if you set this on your landing page lnik this will override what's being pulled through.

Image guidance

• Image dimensions should be 2000 x 2000px or in ThirdLight use 'Thumbnail square' and crop images as required using the 'Constrain proportions' checkbox.
• All images must be optimised using TinyJPG before uploading to T4.
