Staff Profile

The staff profile is a specialist hero to showcase the key information related to a member of staff. It’s use is only for staff profile pages, and should not be used elsewhere on the site. If wanting to include staff details within a different page type, then the staff promo component should be used instead.

The images used within a profile must fit with the new brand style by showing a related working environment, and avoid cold blank backgrounds and sterile headshots to camera. When no image is available, the component will output a pattern instead.

Key features

• Produces a variation on the pattern hero which includes:
  • Thumbnail from the section if present
  • Taxonomy tags from the section config
  • Optional social media links, website link and email address
  • Full bleed pattern.
• Recent publications can be set in a WYSIWYG field on the staff profile content type or can be added as separate accordion items.

Image guidance

• Image must be square ratio image, 2000x2000px or in ThirdLight use 'Staff profile image' The style of the image should fit with the new brand and show the member of staff in their environment as opposed to a sterile portrait shot.
• All images should be optimised using TinyJPG before uploading to T4.
