Text Block

This is an essential component for most inner content pages, and can support multiple paragraphs. When using the text block, attention should be given to using a range of headers to clearly break up long sections of text, and keep the information accessible and browsable. It should be clear to a user where text sections begin, similar to a written document.

This component is not however recommended for prominent positions on the homepage or landing pages. Although it can be used on landing pages, where possible copy here should be used within promo components instead, so that they can be paired with imagery or pattern and a link to an onward journey. It can be used in less prominent positions on these pages to add rich text content for SEO benefits.
