Have your say on Derbyshire's Local Nature Recovery Strategy

Tuesday 25 February, 1pm – 2pm and 6pm – 7pm

The University of Derby, in association with Designing Dialogue CIC, that runs S.H.E.D, is leading a series of in person and online public engagement opportunities as part of the commissioned work from Derbyshire County Council on their Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS). The LNRS will set out priorities and proposals to help nature to thrive and provide wider environmental benefits in the future.

The online sessions will provide an opportunity for members of the public to share how they feel about nature, with the aim to learn more about how local communities, businesses, landowners, land managers and other organisations can work together in the future to make sure nature and habitats on our doorsteps can thrive and survive.

A public consultation survey launches on 14 February 2025. Find out more about Derbyshire’s LNRS and take part in the survey.

As part of this phase, two online sessions have been organised on 25 February 2025. These online sessions will provide the participants with the unique opportunity to register their ideas/opinions on LNRS.
