If you are considering studying an online Psychology programme at the University of Derby, this is a unique opportunity for you to join a free live taster session to experience, first-hand, what it like to study Psychology online.

Led by Dr Phil Clarke, Senior Lecturer in Sport, Exercise and Performance Psychology, The Role Of Psychology In Performance is an interactive session designed to give you a flavour of a typical online psychology session. This sample Psychology session will explore how we can use psychological principles and theories to understand how people function when it comes to our performance in work or life.

The Role Of Psychology In Performance taster session is applicable if you are considering studying our online University Certificate Psychology, BSc (Hons) Psychology, MSc / PG Dip Psychology courses. It will give you a real flavour of studying online and engaging in a live interactive session, and to see what its like to be part of the tutor-student community.

Overview of the speaker

Dr Phil Clarke is a Senior Lecturer in Sport, Exercise and Performance Psychology at the University of Derby. Phil is also a Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC) registered Sport, Exercise and Performance Psychologist, a British Psychological Society (BPS) Chartered Psychologist and a British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) accredited Sport and Exercise Scientist. Phil teaches across a wide range of modules across the different online psychology programmes.
