Music Production postgraduate courses

Success as a music producer demands in-depth professional knowledge, technical understanding, a creative outlook and strong interpersonal and entrepreneurial skills. You will develop all these – and more – at Derby. Taught by professionals who are leading the way in music technology, you will be primed to seize exciting new career opportunities emerging in the industry.

You will enjoy hands-on experience in our industry-standard recording studios, rehearsal and practice spaces, auditoria, music technology labs and post-production rooms. We were the first university to introduce a Wavel processor for pioneering work in 3D sound and to benefit from a Focusrite RedNet system.
