This ISEND Research Cluster symposium (University of Derby) is suitable for all those interested in education, and in particular those who are focused on LGBT+ inclusion in UK secondary schools.

Description

Klaudia, a PhD researcher at Goldsmiths University of London and Associate Lecturer at the University of Derby, will be discussing the intersection of LGBT+ and SEND in schools. Her research sheds light on important findings, including a performative approach to LGBT+ inclusion in schools with SEND provision and key themes such as silencing and hierarchy of needs. Join in to learn more about the challenges and opportunities of creating inclusive environments for all students.
