Dr Koushik Das Sarma is an experienced professional bringing a unique combination of business management and scientific expertise along with strategic leadership experience and people skills with a global outlook. Koushik is currently a Senior Lecturer in Business and Management group in Derby Business School.

As Head of Widening Participation, Krisha’s key roles are to develop long-term strategic widening participation programmes, collaborations and partnerships. With over 20 years' experience in her field, Krisha has been instrumental in the creation of highly-regarded and impactful outreach programmes which support young people to achieve their ambitions.  

Kulsoom is a Senior Lecturer in Education and Childhood.

Dr Larissa Allwork is Researcher (Impact) in the University Research and Knowledge Exchange Office (URKEO).  She is also a Historian who investigates how public institutions and societies engage with difficult, provocative or traumatic histories.

Larry teaches Equity and Succession which is a core module for final year undergraduate Law students. He is also module tutor for the undergraduate Company Law and Evidence modules. His research interests are auditor independence and expert opinion evidence.

As a Senior Lecturer in Education, Laura Hollinshead teaches on the Academic Professional Apprenticeship (APA) and the Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education.

As a lecturer in Primary Initial Teacher Education, Laura teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in teacher education, with a specialist focus on primary mathematics. Her research explores children's lived experiences of the mathematics mastery policy, through the lens of social justice.
