Melanie has worked in the UK education sector for 24 years, in secondary education, FE and HE, and with national bodies on curriculum and qualification reform. Melanie is Associate Professor of Learning and Teaching and works with colleagues across the university to support the development of excellent and innovative practice in learning and teaching, particularly in pedagogic research.

Melissa is a postgraduate research student whose current research investigates how cognitive and psychological factors influence drawing ability and affect the design experience for students in design education. 

Melody Harrogate is a programme leader for Education and a senior lecturer for postgraduate studies at the University of Derby. Her fields of interest are around leadership and management, education and teaching and learning. As part of her role as Programme Leader for Education, she oversees collaborative provision at Mediterranean College; Athens and Thessaloniki.

Mia Morgan is a postgraduate research student in Psychology. Mia is passionate about about improving mental healthcare, particularly for individuals with Eating Disorders.

Michael teaches on the MA and BA Social Work degrees and the Child and Family Health and Wellbeing BSc. 

Michael is an Associate Professor in Aquatic Biology. In addition to his teaching and research supervision responsibilities at the University, he is the manager of the Aquatic Research Facility, which was funded through his partnership with SeaLife. He has won numerous awards, including the Charles Darwin Award lecture from the British Science Association.
