Dr Emma Hyde is an Associate Professor in Learning, Teaching and Pedagogy at the University of Derby. Emma is a qualified HCPC registered Diagnostic Radiographer. Before joining the University in 2006, Emma worked as a Diagnostic Radiographer in the NHS for approximately 10 years, specialising in CT and MRI scanning.

Emma joined the University of Derby as a lecturer in October 2015, having previously worked as a University Teacher at Loughborough University.

Emma Twigg is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader on the BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies degree at the University of Derby.

Dr Emmanuel Asante is a Lecturer in the School of Health, Psychology, and Social Care at the University of Derby.  

Esther is a lecturer in Forensic Chemistry and teaches Analytical and Forensic Chemistry on the Forensic Science undergraduate programmes. She also teaches Chemistry at the Foundation level and supervises third-year students interested in analytical techniques during their final-year projects.

An applied economist passionate about teaching, enthusiastic about research and keen on professional engagement. His role within the College of Business, Law and Social Sciences spans the full range of academic activities from teaching at all levels, to leading programmes, to keynote speaking and business consultancy and to applied research.

Faith Samkange is a Senior Lecturer in Hospitality Management. 

Professor Farid Meziane is the Head of the Data Science Research Centre at the University of Derby and the Chair of the College of Science and Engineering Research Committee. He has over 25 years' experience in higher education. He is developing applied research to solve real-life problems using data science and Natural Language techniques.
