Charlotte is a Senior Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology and leads the Advanced Research Methods, Advanced Sport Psychology, and Psychology of Exercise and Physical Activity modules on the programme. Her research areas include effective practice and education and training in sport psychology, professional practice in sport and exercise, and motivation and wellbeing in athletes.

Charlotte Clewlow is part core teaching teams for undergraduate BA Graphic Design and BA Illustration and postgraduate MA Design courses.

Charlotte is Assistant Head of Discipline for the Primary Initial Teacher Training and Education team. She has presented at BERA and has co-written a publication on supporting skills in English and Maths for beginning teachers. She is passionate about education, with particular interests in English and the Wider Curriculum, specifically History and Modern Foreign Languages.

Charlotte is a registered mental health nurse and has worked in acute adult inpatient settings, primary care liaison and day therapy.

Charlotte is a Lecturer in the School of Psychology within the College of Health, Psychology, and Social Care. Charlotte primarily teaches research methods and health psychology. Charlotte's research focuses on factors affecting disordered eating (e.g., nature connection, post-traumatic growth, social influences) and the wellbeing of athlete populations.
