About

I am a lecturer and researcher within the Institute of Education with 15 years of experience in secondary education. During my teaching career I taught ages 11 - 18 and held middle and senior leadership positions, including Pastoral and Inclusion Leader, ITT Coordinator, DEI Lead, and SCITT Course Leader.

In my current role I am the Assistant Programme Leader for the Education Doctorate (EdD), teach on Initial Teacher Education (ITE) programmes, supervise doctoral students, and conduct research within the Inclusion and SEND Research Cluster.

My research explores the ways we can make our educational settings more diverse and equitable, with a particular focus on LGBT+ inclusion.
