About

I am a Senior Lecturer in the School of Law. Before joining the University of Derby, I was a lecturer at the University of Cape Coast in Ghana. My research interests are in the areas of international, environmental and human rights law. 

I have collaborated with international organisations, national governments and civil society organisations on research in the areas of international environmental law and human rights law. My most recent research is in the areas of oceans law and governance. Through funding from the Global Challenges Research Fund/UKRI,  I have conducted research exploring oceans law and governance frameworks in Ghana to support sustainable utilisation of ocean resources.

Teaching responsibilities

I also supervise PhD students in areas related to my research interests.

Professional interests

I accept advisory and consultancy roles from state and non state actors in international environmental law and human rights.
