Teaching mathematics on the Foundation Degree in Mineral Extractives Technology.

Professional interests

I am interested in links between mathematics and architectural design. This has led to running maths and architecture summer schools for Aimhigher Derbyshire and Derby City Council. I am also interested in the difference between the public perception of mathematics and mathematics in the real world. I devised the Check it Out Maths DVD which shows interviews I had with maths graduates at their place of work. The interviews are on the University website.

Launch of Check it Out Maths DVD
