About

I have been a radiographer for 34 years and worked in all areas of radiography including projectional radiography, theatres, pain clinic, angiography, CT and MRI.

Teaching responsibilities

I am a Senior Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography with a passion for teaching and learning. As well as working at the University, I still work clinically in CT and as a Reporting Radiographer.

I lead modules on both the BSc Diagnostic Radiography and MSc (pre-registration) courses.

Professional interests

My main professional interest is CT and neuro imaging. At the university, I am also keen to improve the learning experience for student radiographers.

Research interests

As an undergraduate I researched factors causing violence and aggression against radiographers. For my MSc I researched Radiographers' perceptions of patients' experience of CT virtual colonography.
