About

I am an Impact Officer at the University of Derby, specifically supporting colleagues in the College of Health, Psychology and Social Care. Alongside this, I am also a researcher in the creative industries. My current research, funded by a BA/ Leverhulme Small Research Grant, focuses on the cultural economy of comedy in the East Midlands. Prior to this, I completed a PhD in Feminist Media Studies and my first monograph based on this research Feminist Media: From the Second Wave to the Digital Age was published by Rowman and Littlefield International in 2020.

Teaching responsibilities
