About

I am a Lecturer in Marketing within the College of Business, Law and Social Sciences and teach across a range of modules in the areas of digital marketing, branding, market sensing, and design and creativity for marketers. My research interests lie in the areas of brand heritage, authenticity and corporate social responsibility. My PhD explored the framing of CSR (corporate social responsibility) messages and how they are interlinked with brand heritage for selected UK grocery retailers.

I champion the use of technology and innovative teaching techniques to better facilitate students in their learning and teaching activities. I use Poll Everywhere/Partici-poll in modules, linking to Blackboard to enable students to contribute and co-create their own learning and teaching materials. I also use Panopto to record all lectures so they can be uploaded onto Blackboard to promote inclusion for all students.

I am a strong advocate of research-informed teaching and actively facilitate a teaching environment that seeks to explore latest theoretical contributions in knowledge. Furthermore, as an active researcher within the areas of branding and corporate social responsibility, I actively design/reorientate modules in line with research interests to facilitiate a co-creative learning experience.
