About

I am a Lecturer and a registered Clinical Psychologist. I have previously worked at the NHS and obtained a PhD in Neuropsychology from the University of Birmingham, where I also worked as a Teaching Fellow.

Teaching responsibilities

I lead the final year BSc module in Neuropsychology and also teach modules in clinical psychology such as Clinical Applications of Psychology, Psychopathology, Fundamentals of Applied Psychology, Counselling & Psychotherapy, and Biological Psychology.

Research interests

In my work, I focus on studying the impact of acquired brain injuries on survivors and their families, particularly in terms of their emotional, psychological, and cognitive functioning. My PhD research centred on changes within marital relationships following a partner's brain injury, investigating how to assess these changes and identifying beneficial interventions. Currently, I am involved in a project funded by NIHR, aimed at developing and evaluating the effectiveness of continuity therapy for couples living with brain injury. I am also involved in projects that explore neuropsychological assessments within the field of neuropsychology.
