About

I am the Program Co-Lead for the MSc and PG Diploma Psychology programmes and I teach on the MSc Health Psychology programme. I am a registered Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS), a registered Health Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council, and a member of the BPS Division of Health Psychology. I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

After completing my PhD and Stage 2 training in health psychology in 2013, I held a lecturer post in psychology in Cyprus before moving to Derby. I am a mixed methods researcher interested in evaluating nature-based and digital behavioural interventions for improving wellbeing and quality of life in people with long-term physical conditions and informal caregivers. I also supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.

Research interests

Digital behaviour change interventions for the self-management of health and illness; sexual health; online learning; health and wellbeing; workplace wellbeing; qualitative methods; mixed methods.
