About

I am a Senior Lecturer for the pre-registration BSc (Hons) Children's. 

As a registered children's nurse, I have a background of working in multiple Emergency Departments having a variety of patient-facing, leadership and service development roles. 

I have taught Paediatric advanced life support skills on internationally recognised courses for many years.

Teaching responsibilities

I teach on the children's course for the pre-registration nursing. I am a Personal Academic Tutor for multiple student nurses as well as an Academic Assessor. 

I am module lead for Person-centred Nursing Care for Health and Wellbeing (Child).

Professional interests

My areas of interest are emergency care, care of the seriously ill or injured child and resuscitation. I also have an interest in human factors and Safeguarding.
