About

Jumana is a Section Head of Quality Analytics and Improvement at the Department of Health, the regulative body of the Healthcare Sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. She is a Mathematician with a master’s degree in quality management and a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt professional with more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare sector. She holds a Patent in the Healthcare Quality field. Her contribution to healthcare quality includes, but is not limited to, the following significant achievements:

• Developed a Patented technical mathematical methodology to get the composite score of the Abu Dhabi Quality Index and the ranking for all hospitals, where the JAWDA Program is born; an Innovative and comprehensive Program for Healthcare Quality
• Contributed to many Healthcare quality initiatives and was awarded as the first-ranked innovative employee in the Department of Health
• Author of “SKMC Outcome Book” for 2012, 2013 and 2014. This Book was in Collaboration with Cleveland Clinic – USA and published in UAE and USA
