I programme lead and teach into all the Fashion programmes, my specialist area is knitted textile design with a particular interest in fashion knitwear.

Teaching responsibilities

My teaching is mainly studio based in our very well equipped Chandos Pole Street knit studio. I work on all of our hand flat machines and have some knowledge of Shima Seiki systems. Students create fully fashioned and cut and sew fashion knitwear within their collections. The fabric development of these garments is a key focus. I also teach fashion illustration and drawing and tutor most of the context or core modules on the programmes.
