About

I am a lecturer and investigative psychologist working at the Police Academy of the Netherlands. I teach in the master programme of criminal investigations and advise the Dutch national police. My research project is about identifying effective strategies regarding the disclosure of evidence in police interviews with suspects.

I am a member of the International Investigative Interviewing Research Group (IIIRG) and the European Association of Psychology and Law (EAPL), and chair of the Dutch study programme committee of Investigative Psychology.
