About

I am a Postgraduate Researcher in the Department of Science and Engineering, specialising in Artificial Intelligence. My research focuses on enhancing healthcare accessibility through cutting-edge technologies like Federated Learning, all while ensuring strict patient data privacy. I am passionate about using AI technology to solve real-world problems, especially in the healthcare sector, where improved access and data security are critical.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Systems and a Master’s degree in Data Science from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan. Prior to my PhD studies, I gained nearly five years of industrial experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer and Data Scientist, where I worked on a variety of projects and products that sharpened my expertise in software development, machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing. This combination of academic and professional experience allows me to take a practical approach to research, ensuring that the solutions I develop can be effectively implemented in real-world scenarios.

Beyond my academic and professional life, I enjoy learning about emerging technologies and continuously seek opportunities to expand my knowledge. I also value collaboration, whether it's working with colleagues on research projects or mentoring students. I'm motivated by curiosity and a strong desire to make a meaningful impact, particularly in fields where technology can improve lives.
