With over ten years of experience in both academia and industry, I have built a well-rounded career that bridges professional practice and academia. My work spans developing projects, delivering lectures, and creating curricula internationally, where I am dedicated to empowering students and industry partners through strategic insights and practical leadership skills.

My teaching and research experience has a strong focus on the ASEAN region, where I have contributed to various academic initiatives and collaborated closely with both local institutions and industry. In addition to my formal university education in business, I hold a diploma in gemology, which has enabled me to work effectively with SMEs in the gems and jewellery sector, firms in the precious minerals business, and creative enterprises. This unique combination of expertise allows me to bring a nuanced perspective to strategic and entrepreneurial challenges within specialized industries.

Throughout my career, I’ve held diverse roles across academia and industry, leading collaborative projects and securing funded research that connects academic with real-world challenges. In September 2024, I joined Derby Business School as a Lecturer in Leadership and Strategy. Since 2014, I have been actively teaching and researching in the areas of entrepreneurship, SME strategy, and digital transformation, with a strong emphasis on integrating academic theory with real-world applications.
