After a corporate management career, I followed my other interest, photography. Retraining included a new degree in Commercial Photography which has led to my current PhD focus around the history of commercial photography practice in C19th Britain, working with WW Winter.
Teaching in both the School of Arts and Derby Business School allows me to pursue both fields of my background and to find new connections between them.
