About

I am a writer and a science fiction fan. I came to science later in life, through science fiction and the realisation that it was not something forbidden to me as a woman. I believe the future of the human race is out amongst the stars, and I do what I can to promote that future. Around the world, there is a STEM crisis, not enough young people are choosing to study STEM subjects. Looking at the reasons why people choose STEM and ways that we could influence their ability to see themselves as scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians and all the myriad careers that draw from these subjects.
