I am a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance. I joined the University of Derby in 2018 after over 26 years in practice, professional training and industry as a Chartered Accountant.

I have over 28 years of multinational and multi-level experience covering academia, Audit, Professional Training, as well as working for household named multinational corporations such as Supasteel Ltd, Peugeot Citroen Automobile, Jewson, Volvo Group, Lear Corporation, Milward Brown, GKN Plc, Interserve PLC and Rexel UK Ltd. I functioned in various capacities such as Audit Senior, Chief Accountant, Financial/Reporting Accountant, Management Accountant, Finance Manager and Operational Finance Controller, driving growth and timely Financial Reporting, Analysis and Management.
