About

My main role at the University is to teach and offer experience, from 10+ years in professional sport from Winter Olympic medal to WSBK winners and the importance of our role as a therapist in rehabilitation.

Teaching responsibilities

I am responsible for delivering the practical element of the Sports Specific Rehabilitation module. Here I deliver to second-year students offering real-world experience, science and research to cover rehabilitation from day one all the way through to return to play.

Professional interests

• Understanding the body's movement limitations and importance or returning this prior to returning to sport
• Returning to full strength is important but lacking a degree or two of joint movement can reduce overall force power and performance

• MSc Sports and Exercise Medicine 2019

• Injury Management Lead - British Ski and Snowboard
• Academy Sports Therapist - Derby County Football Club (DCFC)
• BTCC, WSBK, Spa 24 hour races, Edinburgh rugby consultant and many other sports and teams
