Library

We’ve made sure our libraries are light and airy spaces, which feel welcoming and contemporary. They are open throughout the year, with extended hours during the busiest times.

The main library is at Kedleston Road and is open throughout the year, with regular opening until midnight and 10pm at weekends. To make it easy for you to access the materials you need, you can also request books to be collected from Britannia Mill and Chesterfield via 'click and collect' library book lockers. 

There are also libraries at Buxton and Leek College, providing study space, learning resources and enquiry services specifically for our FE students. 

The library also provides 24/7 access to digital resources to support your learning, which includes tools to assist with research and access to other digital materials. 

If you’re studying off-campus, we provide virtual enquiry desks, support materials and guides online.
