Team Derby Motorsport

Our BEng (Hons) Motorsport Engineering students currently take part in a range of extra-curricular activities including Formula Student, Radical SR1 Cup and Esports.

Learn

Students gain key skills such as teamwork, time management, project management, budgeting and presenting skills. Not only do these experiences help them during their studies, but they also set our students up for their chosen careers once they've graduated. 

Experience

In each extra-curricular activity, students can take on a variety of roles, from Data Engineer to Power Train Section Leader. They use their experience gained on the course and during practical activities in our facilities to put what they've learned into practice.

Compete

Who doesn't enjoy a competition? Working together with other students to take part in competitions is a fantastic way of getting out in the industry and experiencing the highs and lows of races.
