Frequently Asked Questions

You will receive a personalised timetable 48 hours after successfully completing your enrolment in August/September 2025 which will be confirmed via email. At this point, you’ll be able to access your personalised timetable on UDo – your student portal.

If you’ve booked a room in our University-owned halls, you will receive an email offer containing the address of your room. You will need to formally accept this online. If you apply to the University of Derby through Clearing, you will receive an email offer within 24-48 hours of submitting your accommodation application. You will also be sent a link to join the Student Accommodation group chat on The Ambassador Platform (TAP) to connect with your future flatmates.

Your Resource List (otherwise known as a Reading List) is available via our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) or our Library website. Our libraries offer you a range of services to support you throughout your studies. Academic Librarians will help you familiarise yourself with the facilities and resources available, including bookable study rooms, course resource lists, guides, the library website and our laptop loan service.
