Post-14

Our Post-14 teaching qualifications are ideal if you’re interested in teaching over 14s and adult learners in settings ranging from colleges, academies and secondary schools to prisons, training companies and voluntary organisations.

You can choose an optional specialism in you want to focus on teaching English, Maths, Engineering, Sport or teaching learners with disabilities.

We’ll prepare you for teaching in the Further Education and Skills sector on a course rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted (2015). When you graduate, you can apply for Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) which demonstrates your commitment, skills and knowledge to employers. 

If you already hold a degree:

• PGCE Post-14 (Education and Training)

If you do not have a degree:

• First study an undergraduate degree.
