Professor in Physical Activity and Health Intervention Research Lead for the Clinical Exercise and Rehabilitation Research Centre

Andy is a Professor of Physical Activity and Health. He undertakes teaching, research and PhD supervision in the area of impact and implementation of physical activity interventions for health improvement. Andy is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health and a NICE Guidelines Implementation Expert. He was involved in the 2019 Chief Medical Officers' PA Guidelines.

Head of Biomedical and Forensic Science

Dr Shiva D Sivasubramaniam is the Head of Biomedical and Forensic Science. His research scientific interests are trophoblast invasion and the effects of environmental pollution on developing placenta. His pedagogic research interests include medical ethics, student-centred teaching and enhancing academic integrity by developing student engagement.
