Esther is a lecturer in Forensic Chemistry and teaches Analytical and Forensic Chemistry on the Forensic Science undergraduate programmes. She also teaches Chemistry at the Foundation level and supervises third-year students interested in analytical techniques during their final-year projects.

Cyril Mbachu is a Postgraduate Research Student who is pursuing an academic interest in the field of environmental sciences.

As Course Director for the School of Built and Natural Environment, Dr Anne Danby works on improving the curriculum and the student experience. She is Chair of the Northern Universities Consortium and specialises in curriculum development, credit and assessment. She teaches ecology, mycology and environmental sustainability and has a vibrant consultancy portfolio.

Melissa is a postgraduate research student whose current research investigates how cognitive and psychological factors influence drawing ability and affect the design experience for students in design education. 

Dr. Uchenna Diala is a Senior Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, in the School of Engineering, at the University of Derby. He currently leads and teaches the following modules: Engineering Applications and Professional Development, Engineering Workshop, Renewable and Smart Energy Systems, Electronic Communication Systems, and Control Systems and Electrical Machines.

Alexandra is a first-year postgraduate research student researching fundamental movement skills, physical activity, and balance during early childhood. 

Based in the discipline of Biomedical and Forensic Science, Samantha teaches chemistry across most programmes within the College of Life and Natural Sciences. A passionate educator, Samantha is the Learning and Teaching Lead for the discipline. Her scientific research focuses on the application of analytical chemistry to real world challenges.
