College of Health, Psychology and Social Care staff

Claire is a postgraduate research student within the College of Health, Psychology and Social Care. 

Emma is a postgraduate researcher in Health Psychology at the University of Derby. Her research reflects her passion for working in and improving end-of-life care, focusing on healthcare professionals’ experiences of patient death and subsequent development of death competency.

Helen Clarke is a senior lecture for BSc (Hons) Mental Health Nursing. She is the academic lead for the BSc Mental health Nursing apprenticeships. Helen is part of the stage three team and module leads the leadership from transition to the registration module.  

Helen Clarke is the Senior Simulation and Clinical Skills Technician for Health, Psychology and Social Care at the University of Derby. She works across disciplines within Nursing, Midwifery, Diagnostic Imaging and Allied Health.

Colin is the clinical skills and simulation technician based at Kedleston Road Derby, and St Helena in Chesterfield. Colin has over 20 years of technician experience in education. His passions are providing quality technical services and helping to create sim environments that will aid in students teaching and learning.

Guy Collins is a Senior Lecturer and International Academic Lead for the College of Health and Social Care. He has over 25 years of professional nursing and teaching experience within the UK and overseas.

Myra Conway is Associate Provost for Innovation and Research, Professor of Biomedical Science and the Theme Lead for Biomedical and Clinical Science. In this role, she is responsible for leading and developing research centres across the College of Science and Engineering and the College of Health, Psychology and Social Care.
