Dr Caroline Harvey
Senior Lecturer in Psychology

Caroline teaches a range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules on our Psychology programmes. She supervises PhD students and is an active researcher. Caroline's research is focused on two broad areas and she leads on research concerning compassion in higher education and also works as part of a team that are interested in the links between nature and wellbeing.

Melanie Haughton
Senior Lecturer in Psychology

Lecturer in Psychology, Melanie Haughton, has worked in education since 2000. Melanie has worked as a Higher Education Learning Mentor, she has also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Lancaster University and as an Associate Academic at the University of Derby.

As a Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing, Kelly supports Student Nurses across the BSc Mental Health Nursing programme through teaching and assessments. Having recently moved into academia from clinical practice, she is responsible for the 'Practice Assessment Module'.

Dr Fiona Holland leads the health and well-being pathway on the MSc Behaviour Change and also teaches on the undergraduate Psychology degree and on the MSc Health Psychology. Fiona also leads on academic enterprise for the department, teaching workshops in Motivational Interviewing and Qualitative Research Methods, and is involved in consultancy projects.
