Ian Danton is a Postgraduate Research Student. His psychological research is into the common values that connect all humans. His long-term goal is to develop an intervention, based on these values, that can be used to minimise prejudicial attitudes and behaviours.

As Interim Head of Discipline for Social and Community Studies, Liz Eate manages the programme and works with a diverse team of lecturers and with current students to ensure a positive, contemporary learning experience. Her specialist interests include interprofessional learning and working in child protection, teenage pregnancy, parenting and public health.

Professor of Health Psychology

James Elander is an HCPC-registered health psychologist who conducts research on chronic illnesses including haemophilia, sickle cell disease, end-stage renal disease, spinal pain, and dysmenorrhea. He also has a longstanding interest in the psychology of learning and teaching, especially student writing.

Sue has been working within radiography team at the University of Derby for six years now, initially beginning her career in teaching as a Lecturer Practitioner, though I have later taken on the role of Lecturer.
